Maku and Marta woke up from hibernation, full of curiosity about the outside world. Dad said, "It won't be long before spring will come to this forest." "Spring?" Maku and Marta had never seen spring before. From the descriptions of mom and dad, "spring" is warm wind, green leaves, colorful flowers, and a fragrant smell.
The next day, the cold wind stopped. Maku and Marta couldn't wait to go out looking for "spring". They searched hard and yelled "Spring". They woke up other small animals that were still hibernating, thinking they had seen "spring". After learning that the little animals are not spring, they are a little disappointed. "Where is spring?" They wonder.
Suddenly, they meet a little girl wearing a green coat, a yellow bow, and a red scarf. Green, red, yellow... This is spring! The little girl gave Maku and Marta fragrant and warm egg tarts. They found "spring" and went home happily. Behind them, the leaves and grass started to turn green, and colorful flowers bloomed.
