In this book, the little boy catches a cold and develops a fever, but decides that he didn't want to go to the hospital because he was afraid of injections, just like all the other children. He imagines himself as a strong lion, a lazy pig, a slow tortoise, a clever squirrel, a sturdy crocodile, etc., in order to help him through the injections but in the end, it is his own bravery that gives him the courage to take the injection. This is a fantasy picture book that helps children overcome the fear of injections.
