Author: Jon J Muth
The three monks came to a suffering village. The villagers had been suffering for many years, their hearts became hardened, and they were unwilling to accept anyone. However, the monks used the method of boiled stone soup to make the villagers pay a lot unknowingly, and understood the truth that the more you give, the more you reward. Joan Mutter uses gorgeous watercolors to encourage readers to ponder the truth behind the story. He incorporated his love for Zen and Eastern culture into this ancient story of ingenuity to promote the power of generosity.
